If you want to be an air traffic controller (ATC):

Then we can offer you opportunities throughout NZ and the world! Training takes around 6 months at our campus in Christchurch; then you'll get to train on the job at one of our 17 regional or military towers. Once you're fully qualified, you can stay in the regions; work at one of our Main Trunk Towers in Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland; in our Radar Centre in Christchurch or Oceanic Centre in Auckland.

If you want to be a technician or engineer:

Then we can send you just about anywhere in NZ too! We have techs and engineers based in Christchurch, Queenstown, Nelson, Wellington, Palmerston North and Auckland. We also offer a technical trainee programme for students wanting to get into the aviation industry.

If you have another professional qualification:

Are you a lawyer, accountant, software designer, IT whizz, communications specialist or HR expert? Then just maybe we have a role for you at Airways. Our professional and management positions are based at our head office in Wellington; our corporate office in Christchurch and our Oceanic centre in Auckland.

Maybe you have aviation experience:

Then we employ simulator pilots, trainers, flight inspectors, charting and mapping experts, airspace designers, safety specialists; based in either Christchurch, Wellington or Auckland.
