- Our office is in Hamilton City and employs 18 staff
- We have been operating since 1995 and work for over 400 business clients
- We act for a wide variety of commercial clients including a few farming and bloodstock clients

We strongly believe that if you can complete your tertiary study and have the right attitude you can have a successful accounting career. We don't focus on the graduates with the best grades, but prefer graduates with a great attitude towards learning what we do and helping our clients to achieve their goals.
We have regular team meetings where we update our people on all aspects of the business. We aim to constantly improve our performance for our clients and seek input from our people on how we can do this. Over the years we have received some terrific ideas from our team.
What we do
At Barraclough & Associates Limited we provide accounting and taxation services, business appraisal & financing services and business improvement services.
As a new graduate you will start out providing accounting and taxation services to a wide range of clients (as detailed below).
Accounting Services
Research indicates that businesses have a higher rate of success where they meet with their accountants on a regular basis and receive timely and up to date financial data. To assist our clients with their success, we proactively promote the preparation of periodic rather than just annual financial statements.

Graduate Profile
Abby joined our company in 2008 straight from school and started studying part time towards her Bachelor of Management Studies.
"As a student, working at Barraclough & Associates gives me the best of both worlds. It allows me to use the practical knowledge I gain through my work to assist my studies and to use the knowledge from university in real life practical situations.
Everyday is different and there are many varied requirements for each client. I am responsible for completing financial statements for small and medium sized companies, preparation of taxation returns, GST returns and other business related projects as required. This offers great variety and uses my skills to the highest potential.
