Why advertising?

"I don't want people who do the right things. I want people who do inspiring things" Bill Bernbach, founder, DDB.

Advertising and marketing communication is about effecting change. Changing consumer behaviour, changing the fortunes of businesses, and sometimes, changing lives.

To meet these heady challenges takes passion, vision, commitment and a good understanding of human beahviour.

Successful advertising careers come from an inherent ability to be a master of all trades. You must know and understand a variety of different industries. In many cases, you’ll know more about your client’s brand, business and competitors than they do.

The best advertising people are confident, outgoing, dynamic, team-players. They are voracious consumers of popular culture, trends and technology. They have good creative appreciation, are highly organised and have usually had some sort of amazing life experience that separates them from the crowd.

CAANZ is looking for exceptional people willing to work hard for an exceptional career.

Are you up for the challenge?

Our Internships

CAANZ Graduate Internships are the best way to get your foot in the door of the advertising and marketing communications industry.  All you need to do to be considered for a role is complete an application form.

There is the small matter of ensuring your application stands out from the crowd and makes us want to interview you.  As Mr Bernbach said, we want people who inspire us.

If you are shortlisted, you’ll have the opportunity to get in front of up to 10 agency Chief Executives.

What you do with that opportunity is up to you.

Successful candidates will be offered an internship role within a leading New Zealand advertising agency.
