Who We Are
Findyourplace.co.nz is a Shared Recruitment Service for six Waikato-based District Councils (Matamata-Piako, Waipa, South Waikato, Otorohanga, Waitomo and Waikato) and one Regional Council (Environment Waikato).
The service is managed by Greg Tims & Associates based in Hamilton. The aim of the service is to collectively attract good quality candidates into local government.

You will be part of a dynamic team supporting our Group Manager involved with Community Relations and Planning, and Group Manager Organisational Development. Responsibilities for this role include diary management, responding to any enquiries or requests, preparing documents, minute taking and project work.
Key attributes sought for this position include:
- Previous administration experience
- Demonstrated ability to proactively think, plan and deliver a professional service
- Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Well developed organisational and planning skills, attention to detail and analytical skills are important
- Outstanding interpersonal skills, including the ability to construct and present clear messages to diverse audiences and develop strong relationships with a range of people
- The initiative to ‘roll your sleeves up’ and get the job done A ‘can-do’ attitude and enjoys celebrating success.
Knowledge of the Public Sector and/or Local Government sector is advantageous.
